Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LAND4X4 PTY LTD (ACN 637 188 222)
("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the PEKPIK LLM API gateway and the website at
aiapiv2.pekpik.com (the "Service"), collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal
information. We are an Australian company based in Victoria and we handle personal information in
accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where
we serve users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we also act consistently with the
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / UK GDPR) as described below.
1. Who we are
The data controller is LAND4X4 PTY LTD, 9/260-276 Abbotts Road, Dandenong South VIC 3175, Australia. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Sales / contact enquiries: the email address, company name, estimated monthly spend and use-case description you submit through our contact form.
- Account & billing data (if you become a customer): the identity, billing and payment details required to provision and invoice an API key. Payment card data is handled by our payment processors and is not stored on our servers.
- Support correspondence: the content of emails or messages you send us.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Technical request metadata: when you call the API we log timestamps, the model requested, token counts, latency, HTTP status, and a coarse rate-limiting identifier. This is used for billing, routing, abuse prevention and reliability.
- Web analytics & security: IP address (stored only as a daily, salted, non-reversible hash for the contact form), browser user-agent, and standard server logs.
2.3 What we do NOT collect or store
- We do not retain the content of your API request prompts or model completions. Requests are proxied to the upstream provider and not logged as content.
- We do not collect sensitive information (as defined by the Privacy Act) and ask that you do not submit it through the contact form.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to sales enquiries and provide, provision and support the Service.
- To calculate usage, bill accounts and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To monitor, secure, maintain and improve reliability and performance.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
For users in the EEA/UK, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), consent (where you submit an enquiry), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We share personal information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed:
| Recipient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Upstream AI providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek and others) | To fulfil your API requests. We forward the request payload required to serve the call; we do not send your contact-form data to them. |
| Cloud & infrastructure providers (hosting, database, CDN/tunnel) | To operate the Service. |
| Payment processors | To take payment and invoice (customers only). |
| Internal notification tools (e.g. Slack) | To alert our team to a new sales enquiry. |
| Professional advisers, regulators or law enforcement | Where required by law or to protect our legal rights. |
We do not sell personal information.
5. Overseas disclosure
We are based in Australia and use service providers that may store or process data outside Australia (including the United States, the EEA and Asia-Pacific regions). Where we disclose personal information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients handle it consistently with the APPs and, for EEA/UK data, that an appropriate transfer mechanism (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) is in place.
6. Data retention
- Contact-form enquiries are retained for up to 24 months after last contact, then deleted or anonymised, unless an ongoing customer relationship or legal obligation requires longer retention.
- Billing and tax records are retained for the period required by Australian law (generally 5–7 years).
- Technical request metadata is retained for up to 12 months for billing and security, then aggregated or deleted.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, network isolation and storing contact-form IP addresses only as a salted hash. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion or restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- request a portable copy of information you provided (EEA/UK);
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by law. If you are in the EEA/UK you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Australia you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
9. Cookies
The marketing site uses only essential cookies/local storage needed for the page to function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics in future we will update this policy and, where required, request consent.
10. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and developers and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
